The cheapest car insurance Florida legally allows
The legal minimum in Florida is $10,000 PIP plus $10,000 property damage liability (Fla. Stat. 627.736 and 324.022). Bodily injury liability isn't required for most drivers, though it can be required after certain crashes or a DUI, and lenders usually require collision and comprehensive on financed cars. Minimum coverage averages about $1,224 to $1,672 a year (sources below). It's the cheapest option, but it leaves you personally exposed if you injure someone.
